Woman injured in single-car crash

A Merrimack woman was taken to a local hospital following a single-car crash Wednesday evening, police said.

Richalie Griffith, 27, of 8 Morningside Avenue, suffered nonlife-threatening injuries, police said, though she was brought to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua for treatment.

At about 5:15 p.m., Griffith was traveling west on Industrial Drive, near the Exit 10 northbound off ramp, when her 2008 Ford Escape drifted off the road and past the shoulder, a witness told police. The car then traveled 50 feet before stopping against a small rock ledge.

Merrimack police and fire departments responded to the crash. Police are investigating.
