Weapons stolen during burglary

Merrimack police received a report Friday from a local resident who said his house had been burglarized within the last two days.

Suspects stole a samurai sword and a Chinese-made AK-47 assault rifle, police said. The police department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating the incident.

Police said a reward is available to anyone providing assistance and/or information that leads to the arrest of the burglar(s). People with information can call the Merrimack Crime Line at 424-2424 or Det. Kenneth Stimson at 424-2774.
