Vehicle break-ins cause for concern
Wilton police are asking for the public’s help to solve a rash of vehicle break-ins that began this week.
Eight thefts from vehicles have been reported since Monday.
All of them have occurred during the evening or early morning hours and have targeted unlocked vehicles parked in residential driveways, police said.
Sports equipment, GPS units, iPods, game consoles and other electronics, along with money and medication have been taken in the thefts, police said.
Police recommend residents lock their vehicles and ask that they report any suspicious activity by calling 654-9452.
