Trailer fire deemed suspicious in origin

A fire that police consider suspicious in origin heavily damaged an office trailer Thursday night.

Police said officers and fire personnel were called to a parking lot around 8:30 p.m. and found the trailer ablaze. It was parked in the rear lot of Williams Scotsman, a business that leases and sells modular buildings and storage trailers at 48 Dick Tracy Drive, which is off of Route 128 in the northern end of town.

Police said the damage was confined to the trailer, which they described as a commercial-style office building. The incident remains under investigation, police added. Anyone with information can contact Lt. Gary Fisher at 635-2411.
