Teens face alcohol-related charges

MERRIMACK – Three local teens were arrested on alcohol-related charges early Sunday morning after police stopped their vehicle for having a headlight out, police said.

The driver, Thomas Evarts, 17, of 9 Esquire Lane, was charged with operating under the influence, police said, after he failed a field sobriety test at the scene.

His two passengers, Armando Luna, 8 Woodward Road, and Brady Raye, 60 Indian Rock Road, both 17, were arrested for possession of alcohol after officers determined that they had also been drinking, police said.

All are free on bail pending appearances in Merrimack District Court – Evarts on Wednesday and the others on Oct. 14, police added.
