Teen uninjured when car flips

A Merrimack teen’s car rolled over and slammed into a stone wall, but she kicked out a window to escape unharmed, police said.

Siobhan Fogarty, 16, of Arlington, Mass., told police her 2003 Hyundai Sonata hit a patch of rocks as she traveled south on McQuestion Road on Wednesday evening, police said Thursday.

The car rode over the rocks as the road takes a sharp curve, police said. Fogarty’s Hyundai then hit a stone wall and flipped over onto its roof, police said. Fogarty kicked out a window to leave the car and walked away from the scene, police said.

Fogarty was uninjured, police said. Police are investigating the crash, but have ruled out alcohol use.
