Teen faces sexual assault charges
NASHUA – Additional charges have been filed against a 16-year-old who is now accused of sexually assaulting three children at a local motel, police reported Monday.
The teen was first arrested in May, charged as a juvenile with sexually assaulting a 4-year-old boy. Police said the teen was jailed while facing hearings in the juvenile division of Nashua District Court.
By state law, juvenile offenders are not identified. Sexual-assault victims also are seldom named, according to police and newspaper policies.
After further investigation, police brought more charges last week, alleging that the same teen also assaulted a 6-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl. All of the alleged assaults took place this past spring at a motel where the teen was living, police reported.
