'Support our Troops Rally' scheduled

To mark Armed Forces Day on Saturday, May 16, a “Support Our Troops Rally” will be held on the Milford Oval from 1-3 p.m. sponsored by Harley-Sanford Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4368, 1 VFW Way, Milford.

All donations collected will go to the troops and families of C Company, 86 Infantry Brigade, National Guard unit from Milford, which is soon to be deployed.

The event will feature guest speakers, Gold Star Mothers, Blue Star Mothers, Pease Greeters (bring a pair of white crew socks for their program) and Veteran Motorcycle Groups.

A pig roast will follow at the VFW Post.
