Sununu, Shaheen make the rounds in Nashua
A day after his rival for U.S. Senate spoke to the Nashua Rotary Club, Sen. John E. Sununu visited the group for lunch Tuesday.
Democrat Jeanne Shaheen stopped in for lunch at the Nashua Country Club on Monday.
Sununu, who spoke to the Rotarians about the economy, later toured St. Joseph Hospital at 3 p.m.
Shaheen is also planning to visit BAE Systems on Spit Brook Road in Nashua today at 11 a.m.
Visitors to BAE will be approved for entrance with a photo ID and completion of paperwork upon arrival.
Shaheen’s visit comes two days after Jennifer Horn, who is challenging Democrat Paul Hodes for his seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, was at BAE Systems. Horn met company employees for lunch. Shaheen will attend an open forum with employees, according to BAE.
