Single-car crash closes road

A portion of Turkey Hill Road was closed Monday afternoon while firefighters rescued a woman whose foot was stuck in the car after she crashed into a telephone pole.

The woman, who has yet to be identified, had minor injuries, according to a Merrimack fire dispatcher.

There’s no word yet on what caused the crash.

Firefighters arrived at the scene around 2:30 p.m.

Public Service of New Hampshire was also called to replace the telephone pole, which was knocked down by the single-car crash.
