School district hosts job fair
The school district is holding a job fair for substitute teachers and other substitute positions this week.
The job fair will be held Thursday in the lobby at Nashua High School South and will run from 3-5:30 p.m. Interested candidates should bring a letter of interest and a resume.
Completed applications should also be brought, or applications can be filled out at the job fair.
Dana O’Gara, director of human resources, said that while the district is primarily looking for substitute teachers, applicants looking to substitute for paraprofessionals, secretaries or lunch monitors would also be considered.
Applicants for substitute teaching positions should bring copies of their college transcripts, teacher certification or eligibility, Highly Qualified Teaching status and letters of recommendation if they are a teacher or have a college degree.
