School board seeks new member

The Hudson School Board has begun taking applications from town residents interested in serving a one-year term on the board.

The seat became vacant upon the resignation of member Brenda Levesque, which became effective March 10.

Applicants must live in Hudson and not be employed in any capacity in the Hudson School District.

Applications will be accepted through Thursday, April 2. Interviews will be conducted starting Monday, April 6.

Letters of application should be addressed to Superintendent of Schools, 20 Library St., Hudson, NH 03051. Candidates should state their reasons for applying and provide information that would be useful for the board in its decision-making process.

The board’s regular meetings are held every other Monday evening. It also meets frequently to develop budgets, discuss and engage in negotiations with unions, review staff nominations, and other business matters.
