Road damage blamed on medical condition

A man drove away from his home early Thursday morning suffering from an unknown medical condition and struck several objects, police said.

Craig Zagranis, 55, left his 2 Kimberly Drive home before 5 a.m. but soon hit a tree with his Toyota Land Cruiser before entering Daniel Webster Highway, police said. The vehicle also struck a mailbox and fire hydrant on the roadway, police said. The vehicle turned into Munce’s Market, where police found the SUV suffered heavy front-end damage, police said, adding Zagranis was taken to Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, police said.
