Rain affects expo, festival events
Due to a stormy weather forecast, organizers have made a few changes to the Merrimack Fall Festival and Business Expo scheduled for Saturday.
Most events and exhibits will now be held indoors at the James Mastricola school complex and the library from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The NFL-sponsored pass, punt and kick competition has been rescheduled for Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. at the O’Gara athletic field.
Sign ups will still be held at the festival this weekend.
The playing of a softball game between the Merrimack Police Department and sports and local celebrities will be decided at game time, which is 1:30 p.m. at the American Legion field.
Also up in the air is the classic car cruise, which will depend on the weather.
