Pair's car crashes into NH liquor store

An elderly Hollis couple escaped injury when their car crashed through the front of a state liquor store.

Brookline police were called to the Stateline Liquor Store on Route 13 around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, for a report of a car accident involving a single car and the building, police said.

Witnesses said a 2003 Buick Century being driven by a 75-year-old woman was parking in front of the store when it accelerated into the front of the building, police said, damaging the car and the glass and steel frame of the store.

The driver and her 76-year-old male passenger were not injured and the accident remains under investigation, police said.
