Opening of diner is delayed a bit
MILFORD – The opening of the Red Arrow Diner on the Oval in Milford, originally scheduled for Oct. 15, has been pushed back a couple of weeks, according to Dawn Foote, daughter of Carol Shaheen, owner of Manchester’s Red Arrow Diner.
The 24-hour eatery will be Red Arrow’s second diner, and Foote said it will feature the same menu and decor as the well-known Manchester landmark.
Located in the defunct Milford Diner, near the stone bridge, the diner will be managed by Shaheen and her father George Lawrence, who owned Manchester’s Belmont Hall and Restaurant for 30 years.
