Old trailer finds new life at cemetery
LYNDEBOROUGH – On Tuesday, selectmen accepted the donation of a used horse trailer from road agent Kent Perry. The trailer will be used primarily by the cemetery crew to transport mowers and tools, and at the end of the season it will be used as a storage shed.
Perry said the wooden trailer they had been using is unsafe and the cemetery workers are noticed that they were having problems loading and unloading the machines, and one had been dropped during the process.
“It has a drop ramp, and it can be locked,” Perry said of his gift. “It just can’t be used for horses any more.”
