'No Place Like Home' event provides information about 'aging in place'
METHUEN, Mass. – Experts on “aging in place” will share information on how to create or modify a home to keep you or your aging loved ones safe, comfortable and at home.
The event, called “No Place Like Home,” will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Frank Webb’s Bath & Lighting Center off Route 93. Admission is free.
Darrell McCrensky, of Hancock Building Associates, will present a keynote address at 5:30 p.m. about accessible design in today’s home building and remodeling industry. Hancock recently received the National Association of Home Builder’s Certification for Aging in Place construction.
