NASHUA Walls, duct work in place at center

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua is seeing substantial progress in the Teen Center and Clubhouse Improvement Project. As of mid-December, wall structures are in place and HVAC work is well underway.

The lower level is the first phase and is where the new Teen Center will be located. Among some of the most noticeable changes on the ground level include windows, new teen locker rooms, cafe, a performance area and music recording studio.

The Teen Center and Clubhouse Improvement Project will double the education and technology program space for kids 8-12, modernize the games room and dining area, bring in natural light, enhance the Kid’s Club, provide meeting rooms for collaborating agencies and provide a Teen Center with a separate entrance for 13- to 18-year-old members.

Demolition and progress photographs, a virtual tour, renovation brochure and floor plans are available at www. bgcn.com. For more information about the project or to help, contact Leslie Sanderson at 883-0523, ext. 212.
