Nashua PAL doles out gifts at holiday party

NASHUA – The Nashua Police Athletic League Center celebrated the holidays on the snowy night of Friday, Dec. 19.

More than 100 kids and their families received gifts donated by Marines Toys for Tots of Londonderry. Santa handed out more than 200 wrapped gifts, calling each child by name. Children ages 7-18 and family members enjoyed pasta, chili, chicken casserole, lasagna and desserts.

Nashua Police Athletic League, 52 Ash St., is a nonprofit organization that serves 30-50 children daily.

“We are fortunate that we were able to help our kids have something special during this time of year,” said Shaun Nelson, civilian director of Nashua PAL.
