Man from Hudson back in custody
A Hudson man was back in custody Thursday morning after walking away from a Manchester halfway house Wednesday. Jason Kinney, 34, of Hudson, is serving time for violating his probation after being convicted for robbery.
He left the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester for work on Wednesday and never showed up. Police said he turned himself in at the house early Thursday morning and was taken to the State Prison in Concord. Kinney was indicted on two robbery counts in Nashua in 2005.
