Last day to register for conference
BEDFORD-Today is the last day to register for a collaborative small-business conference on planning, growing, and financing a New Hampshire business.
The New Hampshire Business Review and CEI Community Ventures Inc., a venture capital firm, are co-hosting “The Agenda for Growth” conference on Tuesday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at C.R. Sparks in Bedford.
The first-of-its kind conference is designed for Granite State business owners and operators who are hoping to expand to the next level of growth, and beyond. It is sponsored by the only statewide business newspaper, and CEI, which has $10 million targeted for companies in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.
“Many of the state’s most respected experts on such topics as venture capital, angel financing, near equity financing an business valuation, will be features,” said Jeff Feingold, editor of New Hampshire Business Review.
The keynote speaker will be Jay Borden, founder and former CEO of Granite Systems, a former Inc. 500 communications software company in Manchester that was acquired in May by Telecordia Technologies.
The conference will cover nine growth-related topics, with presentations and panel discussions showcasing the insights of a range of experts, including a number of venture capitalist and angel investors.
The event also will feature networking opportunities at breakfast, lunch and a post-session get-together, giving participants a chance to meet one-on-one with participating angels, venture capitalists and grant sources.
