Kids unharmed in carjacking

Two young children were unharmed Saturday morning when two men briefly carjacked the vehicle they were in, police said.

Jason Poloski, 29, of 8 Abbott St., Nashua, and Miguel Goodwin, 30, of no fixed address, allegedly took the vehicle from 42 Main St. sometime before 11 a.m. and then abandoned it about a block away. Several minutes later police located the suspects on Scripture Street.

The children were returned to their mother. No further details were available Saturday.

Poloski was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail, as well as reckless conduct, a felony punishable by up to seven years in state prison.

Poloski’s bail was set at $10,000.

Goodwin was charged with criminal liability to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail.

Goodwin’s bail was set at $1,000.
