Keep your heart in check

WILTON – February is Heart Month, and Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services is holding an open house and free health screenings to help people love their heart.

The open house will be held Friday from 2-4 p.m. at the organization’s office at 73 Main St., next to Elmer’s Barber Shop. Free cholesterol screenings and blood pressure checks will be available, as well as heart healthy recipes. Nurses from Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services will be providing the screenings, as well as answering questions about services that are available in the area.

Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services provides visiting nurse services in Wilton and surrounding communities.
