Instructors recognized

Southern New Hampshire University recognized two local instructors this month for their outstanding work at the university.

Irwin Bramson of Merrimack and James Duffy of Litchfield received the university’s 2009 Excellence in Teaching Award. The award is handed out annually to three faculty members: two adjuncts and one full-time.

Bramson and Duffy are adjunct faculty members for the university.

Bramson has taught nearly 100 math and statistics courses during his 10 years at the university. Duffy teaches sociology.
