Hudson funeral home struck by car

HUDSON – A vehicle struck the garage bay door of a funeral home and left the scene, police said.

Sometime between 10:15 and 10:45 p.m. Friday, a vehicle described as a newer-model Toyota hit Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home at 50 Ferry St., police said. A police investigation suggests the car was unable to negotiate a turn from Ferry Street and onto Pleasant Street and hit the bay door, police said.

The Toyota is described as white with heavy front-end damage, missing side mirrors on both doors and with broken hubcaps.
