Hudson board fills seat

The Hudson School Board is back at full strength after the recent confirmation of Patty Langlais, a child care professional and private kindergarten owner, to the seat left vacant by the March resignation of Brenda Levesque.

Langlais, who operates Stonewood Family Child Care out of her home and also owns Stonewood School, a day program for infants through kindergarteners, attended her first meeting Wednesday. She was one of two applicants for the seat; the other was Laura Bolduc, a 20-year town resident.

Langlais will fill out Levesque’s term, which expires in March 2010, then choose whether to run for the seat in the 2010 election.

Langlais, who has two children – a freshman at Alvirne and a fifth-grader at Hills Garrison – is a 17-year Hudson resident who has been active in PTO’s at Hills Garrison and Hudson Memorial schools.
