Home nurse charged with stealing

A nurse is charged with stealing about $1,000 from a disabled child and his family in Merrimack.

Police say 40-year-old Deborah Ann Ferry was arrested Friday on two theft charges. They say she stole the money during the last month while she was caring for the disabled 14-year-old in his home.

The boy’s father, Clay Taylor, told The New Hampshire Union Leader the family reported Ferry when they noticed quarters, dollars and $5 bills disappearing from a five-gallon water jug used to save vacation money.
