Hodes stops at Hudson house party

HUDSON – U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes spoke to about 30 people at a house party at the home of two state representatives Sunday afternoon.

For about an hour, Hodes was at the home of Democratic Reps. John and Maryann Knowles, of 51 Quail Run Drive, who are both running for re-election to the state Legislature.

Hodes was speaking about his votes against the $700 billion federal bailout plan, among other subjects. The event was free and open to the public.

Hodes is running for re-election against Republican Jennifer Horn, a former radio talk show host and columnist for the Sunday Telegraph, in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District.
