High court to hear cases at Souhegan

AMHERST – The New Hampshire Supreme Court is coming to Souhegan High School, but don’t worry, no one did anything wrong.

The court will participating in an outreach initiative called Supreme Court on the Road on Wednesday, in which students from 12 area high schools will get to hear real oral arguments in two Supreme Court cases.

This is the Supreme Court’s 10th appearance at a New Hampshire school. The event is open to the public. Twenty seats are available on a first come, first served basis.

The event starts at 9:30 a.m. but it’s advisable to get there early because of security and logistical concerns, said court spokeswoman Laura Kiernan.
