Half of auto group's land changes hands

MILFORD – The owner of Accent Auto Group on Elm Street has conveyed a 50 percent interest in his property to a Nashua-based holding company.

Robert LaJoie, the sole member of SNN Automotive Realty LLC, transferred the share of the property to AAG Holdings LLC of Nashua “for considerations paid” on Jan. 23, according to documents filed with the Hillsborough County Register of Deeds.

In March 2008, SNN and AAG entered into a joint ownership agreement, according to documents filed with the Hillsborough County Register of Deeds.

That agreement was terminated Jan. 23, the same day the warranty deed was transferred to AAG.

It’s unclear what the agreement means for Accent Auto Group, which is a Buick-Chevrolet-GM-Pontiac-Chrysler dealership.

LaJoie did not return multiple messages left over a period of weeks.

An employee also said LaJoie would not comment during a visit to the dealership this week.

Kevin Slattery, the sole member of AAG did not return a message seeking comment on the transfer.

The 3.15-acre property consists of two separate parcels known collectively as 419 Elm St. and is assessed at $1.934 million.

Based on the real estate transfer tax paid, the value of the transfer was $1.3 million.

Accent is located at the site of the former Talarico auto dealership.
