GMO seeks to help children, families

Greater Milford Outreach is an organization for anyone interested in exchanging ideas for better serving children and families in the Milford area.

GMO meets on the first Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be held today at the Milford Town Hall Banquet Room from 8-9 a.m.

This month’s presenter will be a representative from Meals on Wheels describing the services available and answering questions. Networking will follow the presentation.

NASHUA Register for Pack 19 at Halloween party

Pack 19 invites boys in grades 1-5 who are interested in joining Cub Scouts to come to its annual Halloween Party Pack Meeting on Friday at 7 p.m. at Pilgrim Church on Watson Street. Come in costume with parents and siblings.

WILTON WLC class of 2010 to hold fall festival

The 11th grade class of 2010 at Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative High School is hosting a Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25. The Fall Festival will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the WLC high school parking lot.

The event will feature a yard sale outside, as well as craft vendors, face painting, baked goods and games for the kids. Admission will be $2 for adults and $1 for kids. Yard sale spots can be rented for $15 a space; bring your own table.
