French honored in report

The school district will honor a longtime Hudson resident, businessman, and friend of local education in this year’s annual district report.

The report will be dedicated to Gordon L. French, who died in January at age 82. He grew up on a Hudson farm and returned as an adult to run the family’s French Insurance Agency and raise his family.

French served for many years as an Alvirne High trustee, and was also a coach and ardent supporter of town youth sports.
