Fire at vacant house under investigation
NASHUA – The fire marshal’s office is investigating a small blaze that started inside a vacant house at 19 Buck St. early Wednesday morning.
Fire crews responded to the two-story, white clapboard house at about 6:45 a.m., where smoke was showing, said Deputy Chief Steven G. Galipeau.
Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and discovered that building materials, such as home siding, had been the source.
Damage was mostly contained to the inside of the property, Galipeau said. No one was injured.
