One of Lozeau’s priorities has been to fill the many open vacancies on various city boards and commissions.
That work continued this past week with the confirmation of 12 appointments.
“As you know, it’s important that our city boards, commissions and committees are at full complement heading into the new year. The 12 men and women you confirm tonight will go a long way to accomplishing that goal,” Lozeau said to the board of aldermen at the beginning of Tuesday’s meeting.
She thanked the board’s personnel/administrative affairs committee for its work in interviewing the appointees and the appointees for their willingness to volunteer their time and talent
