Earth Hour clock ticks
I fear I have no official local action to report on Earth Hour, the international effort to get people to turn off lights for an hour starting at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28.
Nashua’s Green Team is looking at it, but no pronouncement yet.
There is some regional news, however. Boston will observe the moment by turning off many external lights on places like the Zakim Bridge and Prudential Center – even the Citgo sign! (I’ll have to stay out of Boston then; I’d be lost without the Citgo sign to orient myself.)
If you plan to participate in Earth Hour as an individual or business, let me know with an e-mail to dbrooks@nashuatelegraph.com. Put “Earth Hour” in the subject line, if you can.
