Digital TV discussion at Nashua school postponed
NASHUA – A “town hall meeting” to discuss the transition to digital television, scheduled for Monday at Nashua High School North, was postponed because of the ice storm and power outages.
Officials with New Hampshire Public Television, one of the sponsoring groups, said it will be re-scheduled at a later date.
On Feb. 17, old-fashioned analog television signals will transition to digital signals. It will only affect people who get their TV over the air, through antennas; cable TV and satellite TV will not be affected.
NHPTV, Comcast and WMUR are sponsoring discussions around the state to help people prepare for the switch.
