Debate postponed due to bailout vote
BEDFORD – The likelihood of a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives on a proposed financial bailout package Monday has led to the postponement of AARP New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District debate.
The debate had been scheduled for Monday at C.R. Sparks in Bedford.
The AARP and both candidates, U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter and former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley, are looking to name a make-up date later this week.
