Comedy premieres next 2 weekends

MILFORD – Milford Area Players will present the world premiere of “Hot Buttons,” a new musical comedy by New Hampshire authors Dave Agans and Winfield Clark, and directed by Jeff Caron, for two weekends, July 17-19 and 24-26.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. “Hot Buttons” will be performed at the Amato Center for the Performing Arts, 56 Mont Vernon St.

General admission tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for seniors and students. Advance tickets are available at Toadstool Bookshops and at www.MilfordAreaPlayers.org.

Tickets are also available at the door.

“Hot Buttons” contains some mildly adult humor and comic profanity and is not appropriate for young children.

Four local restaurants are offering discounts through July to patrons showing a “Hot Buttons” ticket or ticket stub.

MAP is also discounting adult tickets to $10 for anyone presenting a July lunch or dinner check from any of the restaurants.

Participating are Foodees, The Red Arrow Diner, The Mile Away Restaurant and Tiebreakers/Wickets at Hampshire Hills.
