City YMCA celebrating healthy kids

NASHUA – On Saturday, the Nashua YMCA invites local families to its annual Healthy Kids Day event.

YMCA Healthy Kids Day is the nation’s largest health day for children and families with more than 1,700 YMCAs participating. The event is free and open to all. The Nashua YMCA will start the celebration at noon. Fun, engaging and creative activities will promote yearlong wellness and healthy living.

This year, activities at the Nashua Y event will include dance and karate demonstrations, face painting, book fair, bounce house, youth and preschool activities, giveaways, educational materials and more. Participating businesses and organizations to date include 1 World Trading, Herner Chiropractic, Lil’Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation, US Cellular, Dentist Nanarao Krothapalli, NH Healthy Kids, Bazzani Chiropractic, Nashua Eye Associates, Orthodontic Association of New England and University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension Nutrition Program.
