Candidate forum slated

The Community Council at Souhegan High School is hosting a public Candidate Forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the school theater, 412 Boston Post Road.

Candidates running in the Souhegan School District (Amherst/Mont Vernon) for the following offices have been invited to attend: Executive Council, state Senate Districts 9 and 11, state House Districts 4 and 6.

The forum will be conducted by students on Community Council, which is the governing body of all school affairs at Souhegan.

The forum will be set up so that each candidate will be given a brief opportunity to make introductory remarks and then answer questions selected by the student moderators. Members of the public may suggest questions in advance by e-mailing them to nhcandidatesforum@yahoo.com.
