BEDFORD Center celebrates fundraising gala
The Child Advocacy Center of Hillsborough County hosted its third annual fundraising gala Feb. 13 at CR Sparks in Bedford, raising $115,000.
More than 250 guests participated in the Oscar-themed evening, highlighted by a “paparazzi-covered” red carpet entrance, live and silent auction, dinner, dancing and an inspirational program designed to raise funds essential to providing services to child victims of crime in Hillsborough County.
The evening’s leading sponsors was The Finlay Foundation. Through their foundation, Rob and Karin Finlay of Peterborough contributed $35, 000 to the Child Advocacy Center. Gov. John Lynch and Dr. Susan Lynch served as the honorary chairs of the evening.
Join Windham Recreation on Wednesday, April 15, for a trip to the Boston Public Library for a tour and then lunch at the restaurant Novel.
The motor coach leaves from the Park and Ride on Route 111 by Shaw’s at 9:45 a.m. and returns around 2:30 p.m. The price is $26 per person includes the tour, motor coach bus and buffet luncheon.
