Ambulance director resigns
Carylyn McEntee, longtime director of the Wilton-Lyndeborough-Temple Ambulance, has resigned citing personal reasons, according to the Board of Selectmen.
Her resignation was effective Friday, May 29.
McEntee has been with the ambulance service since 1978 and the paid director since 1993.
She previously served as unpaid director when the service was wholly volunteer.
Gary Zirpolo of Milford has been named interim director, beginning Monday.
He joined the W-L-T service as a volunteer in 1995, he said, “but I didn’t really become active until 2000.” He was previously emergency management services director at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough.
