Accident leaves 1 hurt, 1 ticketed
A two-vehicle accident on Derry Road (Route 102) on Monday morning resulted in injuries to one of the drivers and a ticket for the other, police said.
The accident, which happened at the entrance to a business just east of the Derry and Robinson road intersection, involved a 1992 Ford Ranger operated by Kari Peets, 25, of Nashua, and a 2001 Honda Civic driven by Alicia Dexter, 34, also of Nashua.
Police said the crash happened when Peets drove out onto Derry Road and into the path of Dexter’s vehicle. Peets was issued a citation for failure to yield, a violation.
Dexter was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua with neck and chest injuries, police said. Peets was not hurt.
