3 women, 1 child taken to hospital after crash
MERRIMACK – Three women and a child were taken to a local hospital following a three-car crash on Route 101A in Merrimack on Monday morning.
None of those involved was seriously hurt, police said.
Vivian Dano, 46, of 15 Cambridge Drive in Merrimack, had stopped her 2003 Toyota Camry at a red light in the area of Home Depot, police said. At that point, police said, Dano was rear-ended by a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Kimberly Brousseau, 26, of 29 Capron Road in Milford.
Brousseau got out of her van with her 4-year-old son, but the van rolled backward, police said, hitting her in the back and knocking her down.
The van proceeded backward and at last struck a 2004 Toyota 4Runner that was at a stop behind the scene; at the wheel was Cathy Miller, 62, of 2 Balsam Lane in Amherst.
Those involved in the crash were taken by ambulance to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Amherst and Rockingham ambulances assisted in the transport.
The crash is under investigation, but charges are not expected, Merrimack police Sgt. Brian Levesque said.
