2 more concerts set at Griffin Park

MERRIMACK – Two final performances will wrap up the summer concert series put on at Abbie Griffin Park by the Merrimack Parks and Recreation Department.

Champion fiddler Robin Warren and guitarist Brian Clancey, the two members of Spirit Fiddle, will play Southern swing, waltzes, bluegrass numbers and Celtic jigs Wednesday.

On Aug. 26, the Compaq Big Band will play music from the 1930s and 1940s, such as Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and Count Basie. Both concerts will be held from 7-9 p.m. If it rains, the concerts will be relocated to the Merrimack High School Little Theater.
