Tribute to Local Veterans
Friday, May 27, 2011
Local veterans in the Central Florida area came out to Gator Harley-Davidson to access free counseling and assistance with their government benefits through The Harley-Davidson and Disabled American Veterans' (DAV) Harley's Heroes(TM) program.
Gator Harley-Davidson also hosted its 4th annual Memorial/Armed Forces Ride, which raised over $4,600 to support DAV free service programs for Veterans. Donations are still being collected to help our heroes, contact Peggy at Gator Harley-Davidson by visiting www.gatorharley.com or 1745 Hwy 441, Leesburg Florida. 352-787-8050.
Gator Harley-Davidson will also continue to accept personal items (i.e. deodorant, baby wipes, beef jerky, etc) and medical supplies (walkers, wheel chairs) these items will be given to the U.S.O. and DAV for our troops and Veterans.
