WHO CAN SUBMIT A NOMINATION
Anyone may submit a nomination in any category. Employees, bankers, attorneys, and public relations managers are excellent sources for nominators.

CATEGORIES
Financial Executive of the Year Awards will be presented to one individual in each of the following categories:

  • • Large for-profit company (Revenue of $100 million and above)
  • • Medium for-profit company (Revenue of $20 - $100 million)
  • • Small for-profit company (Revenue of $20 million and below)
  • • Small nonprofit (Revenue of $10 million and below)
  • • Large nonprofit (Revenue of $10 million and above)

ELIGIBILITY
We recommend nominating a financial executive or officer who has made an outstanding contribution to his/her company's performance as well as to the New Hampshire business community over the past year. Please note that all nominated people must work or have their home office based in New Hampshire.

This person has played a key role in the significant achievements of his/her company, such as:
• Managing rapid growth, providing necessary services and infrastructure to support growth
• Achieving operational efficiency, cost reduction, cash flow improvement
• Strategic acquisition or divestiture, including implementation and integration
• Innovative financing
• Strategic partnerships
• Significant new customers or contracts
• Implementation of best practices in Finance
• Capital structure improvement
• Risk management innovation and improvement

Achievement is measurable in terms of:
• Financial performance
• Revenue growth
• Margins
• Balance sheet
• Market cap, etc.
• Improved competitive position
• Improved company image

Personal characteristics:
• Confidant to CEO
• Outstanding mentor
• Nominee is an extraordinary performer in difficult circumstances

SELECTION PROCESS
Nominations will be judged by an independent panel of respected New Hampshire financial and business professionals. Consideration will be given to the individual's contributions to his or her company/organization's overall growth, commitment to good ethics, effective reporting and involvement in the community. Note: Selection will not be based solely on record monetary results. Accomplishments will come in many forms and each will be considered on their merit by the judging panel.

AWARDS PRESENTATION
The winners will be celebrated at the Financial Executive Awards breakfast on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at the Radisson Hotel ballroom in Manchester.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Nominations for the 2012 Financial Executive Awards will be accepted from December 1, 2011 through March 9, 2012. Nominations can be made via the online nomination form. In addition to the nomination form, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE mailing in supporting materials and documents for your nominee. Nominators must provide 12 copies of any supporting documents for judging panel review. This may include, but is not limited to: binders, published books, white papers, marketing collateral, letters of recommendation or commendation, and awards.
