"The Year of the Entrepreneur -- Building the New Hampshire Economy From the Inside Out" will be the theme of the second annual New Hampshire Entrepreneurial Summit, which will seek to link businesspeople and budding businesspeople to both public and private entrepreneurial resource providers. The summit - to be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 28 at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord - is sponsored by the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development in coordination with the Knowledge Institute, the New Hampshire Community Technical College System and Public Service of New Hampshire. Participants also will be given a resource handbook that will help them navigate the state’s entrepreneurial assistance network. The publication, available only to those in attendance, presents information in a way that enables entrepreneurs to locate help based on their specific need such as business planning, funding, marketing, import/export, and a range of other business management disciplines, said Division of Economic Development Director Stuart Arnett. "Creating valuable programs and resources to support entrepreneurial development and growth today is not enough," he said . "We must work together to make this information available to entrepreneurs in ways where they can understand and use it effectively and efficiently." In addition, the Knowledge Institute will reveal the details of its newest Internet community in support of entrepreneurial initiatives, the virtual business incubator (myVbi.org), said Knowledge Institute President William Osgood. Admission to the summit is free, but participants must pre-register by visiting www.buzgate.org/nh/contact.php?dgfTo=askbuz and mention "Summit" in the "Comments" field.
