A Hudson woman is accused of shoplifting more than $1,000 in merchandise from a local department store, Nashua police said in a statement. Natasha Grygiel, 23, of 54 Lund Drive, was in Kohl’s Department Store on Gusabel Drive on Monday afternoon when employees observed Grygiel hiding clothing and jewelry in a bag in her cart, police said. They attempted to stop her outside the store, but Grygiel fled before officers arrived. Police later contacted Grygiel, who voluntarily went to the station for an interview with detectives, police said. They retrieved the goods alleged to have been stolen and determined their worth at more than $1,000. Grygiel was charged with shoplifting and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. Her arraignment is scheduled in Nashua District Court on Oct. 7. - KAREN LOVETT Edit ModuleShow Tags
